# Verona & Vicenza, Italy: Diva Travel Trip Recap

A couple weeks ago, we decided to take advantage of our current location in Croatia and check out a more northern area of Italy — the Veneto region. We set our sights on mainly Vicenza and Verona. We are going to do Venice as a separate trip at some point. Venice is super nearby, but there is a lot to do!

There were pretty mountains and snow in Vicenza, but no snow in Verona!

We ate at a little diner-style restaurant in Vicenza called “American Graffiti”

We walked around Verona and came upon a market (in the background of this picture) and this — those are shackles on the front.

There was a lot of gorgeous architecture in Verona!

And also a lot of easily accessible churches.

This was a gorgeous statue outside of one of the churches.
